Thank you for working with the United Way to help middle school students learn about healthy lifestyle choices.

The Healthy Teens program:

  • Helps middle school students learn about healthy food choices, physical activity and supporting healthy choices through the pages of USA TODAY.
  • Asks them to consider their own health and implement one United Way strategy for improving it.
    Guides them in executing one United Way strategy to improve the health of their community through service.
  • Target grades: 6-9

    Ideal classrooms: Health, Physical Education, Homeroom or Advisory

    Time Commitment: 1 class session per week for 6-12 weeks
