Future Forward (CTE) Program Videos:
This online curriculum program is designed as a “grab and go” reading solution for career and technical educators who would like to enhance their students’ reading comprehension and higher-order thinking skills while seamlessly teaching their course content. These lessons will work within any career cluster and the assessments and reprint articles are specifically categorized by career cluster for real-world support of your course content.
1. Components
• 10 graphic-organizer based lessons that work with any type of text
• 80 mini-assessments, 5 mini-assessments for each career cluster
• 160-article library of USA TODAY articles, organized into the 16 career clusters
• Links to CTE-related USA TODAY RSS feeds
• Classroom set of USA TODAY newspapers, either print or e-Edition, available at additional cost
Optional Add-on Component: GradAtions
• GradAtions® is a Web-based intelligent tutor, created by Intelligent Automation, Inc., for the development of reading comprehension skills and for learning new information from text. Based on cognitive models of reading and learning, GradAtions utilizes summarization to improve comprehension and to measure how well a learner understands the information. The automated guidance tool directs the presentation of appropriate content while tailoring the material’s complexity to the student’s current capabilities. Learn more.

GradAtions license: $6.00 per student
