How do you see the evolution of the newspaper in the next five years?

The newspaper industry will continue becoming more online focused over the next five years. We will see many more newspapers on iPads, apps and possibly other technological devices that haven’t been created yet. I also think more newspapers will start charging for online content.

Flying fast because I could travel wherever I wanted without buying a
plane ticket.

What is the most interesting article you’ve ever written?

I wrote about the Wal-Mart shareholders’ meeting for the New York
Times. Will Smith hosted the event and Alicia Keys, The Black Eyed
Peas and American Idol season 10 winner Scotty McCreery performed. It
was the most entertaining business meeting I’ve been to.

What was the first thing that you wanted to be when you grew up?

I wanted to be a singer. I had a band with a few of my best friends in
the fourth grade. Our band manager booked us to perform for other
grades. Yeah, we were legit. Now, I only sing in my car where no one
can hear me because I’m such a bad singer.
