Whoever came up with the saying “everything’s bigger in Texas” was dead on — just look at this Fashionista and her sense of style!
Texas Christian University is right in the heart of Fort Worth, one of the most historical and lively cities in the state. Every student here can agree that there is never a dull moment at TCU.
There are always great concerts, exhibits, and events going on here in Cowtown and we sure do know how to show up in style — that is of course when our noses aren’t stuck between books.
Just like this Fashionista’s look above, we Horned Frogs are nothing short of fierce and bold.
Rebecca’s eye-catching yellow belt and bracelet tie her trendy look together along with the big round sunglasses. Accessories such as these are the perfect way to pump up any outfit.
It takes a daring dresser to pair an animal printed dress with such bold pairings; but hey, go big or not at all.
Speaking of “big”, I can assure you that there is never a shortage of big Texas-sized hair around campus. We tease, we toss, and we curl; anything to get that voluminous look. Sometimes hair is a girl’s best accessory and quite frankly it tops off any Fashionista’s ensemble.
Since day one at freshman orientation we have been told that the mission at TCU is for students to think and act as ethical leaders. From our first rate academic programs to our highly ranked champion football team, our student body encompasses all aspects of leadership. In fact, just take a stroll through the library or commons and you will surely stumble upon fashion leaders as well.
Our campus continues to grow at a rapid pace bringing diversity in both culture and style. To categorize style here at TCU into one sector would be a joke.
Some might classify style at TCU as oversized tees and Nike shorts, we are so much more than that.
Although we may not have as many hipsters or loyal couture wearers as other universities, we take trends into our own hands and pull them off in chic and simplistic ways.
